this photograph is an entry for the „art instead of advertising“ art competition organized by the ngbk (new society for fine arts) berlin in 1992, located at the alexanderplatz u-bahn station, u2 line. it is one of 32 realized designs from the open competition. the works were displayed on the advertising spaces opposite the platform. the exhibition ran from february 1993 to february 1994. postcards of the realized designs were printed (now out of print).
